might be related to setting username length to larger than the pad length. Should maybe have some check to make sure that doesn't happen.

Definitely happens when the username length + the additional characters needed for reporting a score are larger than the pad length. Need to figure out the logic to make sure it doesn't get lower than needs be to mess with formatting.
