sqlite is a full database. I should think of all that I need stored in the database in order to make the schema.

  • active election channel
  • current clan council
  • a table for votes. this would include the year and quarter, voter, and votee

Decided that I can use a regular sql database. Will have 3 table: election information, council members, and votes.

  • election information will hold the primary key of election name and the election channel id.
  • council members will hold the people who entered into each election. foreign key of election name, primary key of election name and the member's id. Will also have booleans of elected, discord manager, and clan leader.
  • votes will have a foreign key of election name and primary key of election name and voter's id. Will also include who the voter voted for.
