Event Specialists are representative members of the dakiny community whom make themselves available to assist in maintaining clan engagement with a variety and consistency of events.

At clan event **must**:
        *a* be group content (it may be group solo content (i.e. gathering energy together, playing solo minigames in concert, etc.)).
        *b* be open to anyone that wants to and is able to partcipate (PvM guidelines may be enforaced at the host's discression).
        *b* be advertised in either clan chat or discord with sufficient time for people to respond and decide to join the activity before it begins (at least 10 minutes).

**Expectations of Event Specialists**
**1** Host at least one scheduled event per week. 
    *A scheduled event is an event which is posted at least 5 hours prior to the event and advertised in both the dakiny discord and and clan chat.*
**2** Record attendance in <#800924321819656272> and teach other event hosts how to do so.
    Events are recorded with the /record event command from the dakiny bot. The event needs a name and host (dakiny bot may be host if there is not a clear host).
    Participants are selected from a menu after the event is initially submitted.
        *Attendees which are not in the discord may have an input added manually*

Anyone can be an event host and host events, the Event Specialist is responsible for making sure there are events happening frequently enough, with reasonable variety to consider the needs of all styles of players (skillers, pvmers, etc) and to help others host and plan events accordingly.
The Event Specialists may work actively with PvM Mentors to plan and host PvM events. These are a joint responsibility.

No one is ever required to accept or remain in the Event Specialist position if they do not want to nor believe that the can adequately meet the expectations. Our goal is to assist in the growth of Dakiny as a clan.
