Added a catch for when the GitCommandError happens to refresh the connection. Need to check back in a couple of months of the bot running without restart to see if the error has gone away.

Missed election

Ended up doing this work in add-logging. Unsure what really changed, but the staging test did fine. Will close the issue and revisit if need be, however will turn on debug logs to help understand…
